PS3 slim: True or False?

Will Sony finally release PS3 Slim?
It'll be sure officially announced at E3 this year, almost 100% sure.
Finally Sony will rise to the top with this Slim version of PS3 that'll come with a price cut... maybe to a price near 360's? who knows?

Do you really think its fake? Then you didn't read the links I wrote at the end of the post...
It only indicates that it'll be PS3 slim version... since there was a letter that was send to game sites and stuff that are related to the "publicity" of games, asking to remove the image since it's... bla bla bla

That explains really well that it's very probable that this images are the PS3 slim... the real one. the one that's probably going to be announced in E3

As is their policy, Sony Computer Entertainment America reps declined to comment on the matter. However, their traditionally chattier cousins at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe had no problem telling CVG, "We currently don't have any plans for a redesigned PS3."

well that's the official story.
They don't want to reveal it before E3... That's what I think...
But the most important thing is the price cut.
Without it PS3 won't reach the top in the market...

I don't think the xbox or PS3 will reach the Wii now.
in terms of the this generation sales.
even if the Wii is last generation in power it has innovated more then the others.
even if it's running out of steam now i think it's pretty un-catchable.

In terms of price i'm not sure a price cut will really make a huge amount of difference.
it will bring in some extra buyers but not quite the windfall that Sony are hoping for.

I'd like to see what happens at E3 and whether it will really change the way this generation are going.
Sony and the price drop.
wii and .......whatever wii is doing.
xbox and the magic wand (whatever the hell it turns out to be if it's revealed)

E3 ain't far away so it's something else to wait and see for i guess.

You know why Wii is on top?
It's pretty simple... nintendo was smart enough to make a console not just for gamers but for families. Something that can be easily learned and apparently fun to play with the motion controls.

In the other hand we have 360 and PS3 that are consoles "restricted" to gamers. The quality is better and so is the quantity...
Since I'm a gamer, I'm glad 360 and PS3 exist... I wouldn't like to be playing on a Wii... games aren't just games... they're interactive movies! Story is getting more important, as well as the graphics so it can transmit realism and the drama
